The End of a Patent Dispute

The patent suit brought against Visible World by Invidi (and the resulting countersuit) have been officially resolved. As noted in RTMDaily:

The order, which was issued Nov. 7, said the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, dismissed Invidi’s patent claims against Visible World “with prejudice,” but dismissed Visible World’s counterclaims against Invidi “without prejudice.”

Both companies waived the right to appeal the stipulated order, but neither would comment on its stipulations as part of a confidential settlement.

“What I can say is that no money changed hands. We still have no license. And we’re still in business. And [Invidi’s] claims have been dismissed with prejudice,” Visible World Founder-CEO Seth Haberman tells RTM Daily, adding, “They started something to stop us from doing this, and we’re still doing it.”
