Improved ADTAG® & ADCOPY® Technology Enables True HD Spots to Run on HD Networks Across the Nation

NEW YORK– July 28, 2011 – Visible World, the first provider of national, addressable television advertising, announced today that it can create and deliver High Definition (HD) commercials so that advertisers can send customized messages to a rapidly-growing portion of TV audiences who watch HD networks.

The update to Adtag® / Adcopy® technology gives advertisers the ability to deliver high quality commercials to viewers watching HD television networks in 76 of the top 100 largest television markets. Prior to the roll out of the new technology, advertisers could only develop addressable ads in Standard Definition, requiring SD ads to be upconverted to HD resulting in the “letterbox” effect.

Visible World’s addressable TV technology enables brands, marketers, and advertising agencies to apply the most accurate and relevant TV audience demographic data to TV advertising campaigns. This technology allows advertisers to create ads that reflect the similarities or differences among a region and deliver messages that are most relevant  on the household or cable zone level. Visible World is working with the nation’s leading cable providers, brands, and advertising agencies to reach more than 55 million cable households with the technology, which increasingly includes HD networks. Recent Nielsen Company data shows that of the 289 million Americans who watched TV in their home in the first quarter of 2011, some 80 million were watching on an HDTV.

For example, a retail store with several locations across a region, can “tag” the address or telephone number of each location based on where the segment is shown. Adcopy allows advertisers to simultaneously run different spots within a campaign, across separate zones in a market or region. With Adcopy, an auto manufacturer for example, can concurrently show ads for a fuel-efficient sedan in the city, a minivan in the suburbs, and a rugged truck in rural areas.

(New York, NY) January 19, 2011 – Leader in targeted television advertising, Visible World, today announced the addition of Tania Yuki as VP, Advertiser Solutions.  Ms. Yuki will be responsible for directing strategy, product development, sales and market development, and client services for the advertiser and agency line of business. Tania brings with her a strong background in research and insights regarding advertising campaign effectiveness for TV and online video, which makes her well suited to lead the development of products that provide TV campaign accountability.  She comes to Visible World from comScore, Inc., where from 2008 she led the company’s Video Metrix product and cross media development, and worked to identify opportunities for selling-in comScore’s data aggregation, processing, analysis and reporting capabilities to brands, agencies, and networks.  As Senior Director of Cross Media and Video Products, Yuki was responsible for ensuring that online video measurement supported the growth and balanced the needs of the online video and advertising industry.

Prior to comScore, Inc., Tania was Head of Content at KIT Digital (formerly ROO Media), a leading online video network and IPTV platform, where she oversaw content acquisitions, digital strategy and programming optimization for key publishing clients and content partners in North America, the UK, and emerging markets.  She has also worked in business development at FOXTEL, Australia’s largest pay TV provider, and began her career as an attorney who specialized in media and Internet law.

Tania is also co-Founder of wimLink, an association promoting entrepreneurship, leadership and professional development for women in media and technology. In 2009 she was the recipient of the Advertising Research Foundation’s Great Mind Award for Rising Stars.

NEW YORK (March 31, 2010) - Visible World a leading provider of targeted television advertising, and R. L. Polk & Co., a provider of automotive information and marketing and solutions, today announced that they have formed a partnership to enable automated data driven TV ad targeting for automotive clients.

Advertisers can now use Visible World's addressable technology in combination with Polk's automotive data to target TV advertisements. Polk's industry-specific data will now be available via Visible World's Conductor, a Web-based campaign management system that enables sophisticated, data-driven segmentation for TV ads.

Polk is the most recent major data provider to join forces with Visible World, adding yet another unique layer to the broad data capabilities of Visible World's Conductor. Last year, Acxiom, Experian and Nielsen announced partnerships with Visible World to make their data available via Visible World's campaign management system.

As a result of the partnership, advertisers can now utilize some of the same sophisticated automotive data they have been using for direct mail for television campaigns. For example, auto marketers could segment their audience by propensity to sell various vehicle segment types in specific sub-DMA geographies, and drill down even further to take into consideration data regarding lease vs. buy, historical average MSRP and other factors. There is also a unique capability to target segments based on Polk's unique models that identify "households most likely to be in the market for a vehicle" within a certain time period.

Visible World's Conductor instantly calculates optimal rotations across thousands of targets on the specified media buy and automates campaign execution. This enables advertisers to automatically determine an optimal rotation of their ads, down to a neighborhood.
